Anna Lloyd

Anna is a seasoned talent management specialist with over 16 years’ experience leading Board, CEO and executive selection, succession and coaching assignments globally in both consulting and in-house contexts.

Prior to joining Thrive, Anna led the Executive Capability function at BHP where she held responsibility for the Executive Talent Management strategy. During this time, she oversaw the global critical role succession process, managed BHP’s executive coaching, leadership assessment and executive search vendor relationships and led the selection processes for BHP’s executive leadership team, resulting in a record number of women being appointed to CEO-1. Anna also played a pivotal role supporting BHP’s most recent CEO succession and transition process (2019–2020).

Prior to BHP, Anna was a consultant with global executive search and leadership firm Heidrick & Struggles, leading the search and selection processes for some of the world’s largest industrial companies.

Anna holds a Bachelor of Social Science (Swinburne University). She has Level 1 and 2 coaching qualifications from the Institute of Executive Coaching and Leadership (IECL) and is a certified Analytic Network coach.
