Founder and CEO
Ilea brings the rigour of organisational psychology to a simple conviction: most leaders already know what they should be doing. The real challenge is applying that knowledge to how they lead, and her coaching is built around closing that gap.
With more than fifteen years applying psychological science to complex business problems across Australia, Asia and the United States, Ilea has supported over 250 leaders in the past five years alone, from emerging leaders through to CEOs and their executive teams. Leaders describe her as a calming presence and a trusted adviser: someone who creates the thinking space their roles rarely allow. She is frequently engaged for the harder briefs, where a capable senior leader’s confidence or mindset has become a barrier to their next level of performance.
Her work spans one-to-one executive coaching, coaching within leadership development programs, team coaching and psychometric and 360-degree feedback debriefs, and she has delivered assessment-based feedback to more than 500 senior leaders. She focuses on interpersonal skills, team effectiveness, the shift from expert to leader and communication effectiveness – and above all on the mindset shifts that make behavioural change last.
Ilea’s clients span financial services, utilities and infrastructure, aviation, government, higher education, professional services and not-for-profits, and include the CEO and an executive team member of an Australian bank, the Director-General and two executives of a large state government department and seven senior leaders of a major aviation and infrastructure business. Earlier in her career she consulted with Korn Ferry and Chandler Macleod, and spent three and a half years as a Principal Consultant with Thrive Advisory.
She is accredited in a broad suite of assessment and 360-degree feedback tools, including the Hogan Suite (HPI, HDS, MVPI and Hogan 360), SHL (OPQ, Verify and MQ), Korn Ferry (Voices 360, Assessment of Leadership Potential and viaEDGE), TalentQ and the Global Leadership Wellbeing Survey (GLWS).
